how do you post pictures

I used to be able to copy and paste them from facebook the actual picture, but it just came up with the link, not the picture, no idea what will happen if I post the thread. can anyone explain simply how to put photos on a thread please.

Hey Oliver,

When you post, there is a button that looks like mountains with a yellow background, click that and it will come up with a little box. right click on the image you want and click 'copy image URL' and then paste it into that box. then click ok and post, and it SHOULD come up.

Or, when you have the image URL simply type [ IMG ] (without the spaces) before it and [ /IMG ] after it.

For example;

[ IMG ] https://scontent-b-lhr.xx.fbcdn.net/...81099648_n.jpg [ /IMG ]

becomes;

thank you both, I shall try that, although I have no idea what a URL is!

I tried it, by going on the mountain picture thing and copying the link from the picture from facebook into the box then pressing ok, but it just came up with links to my facebook, so I had to delete it. Was that not the URL. Sorry I don't understand technology.
I have no 'copy image URL' option from facebook, so I copied the link in the address bar.

thank you so much Auror, I changed the privacy setting for the album to public have now tested it and it has worked in the test place, shall now make my thread in the picture board. thank you all for your help, really appreciated.
