Contains bullying - *Contains both sexual abuse and bullying*

Sorry, it contains both, so I just listed it as the title...sorry.
So, at my school, sexual abuse IS bullying. There are a few bisexuals guy at school who constantly slap butts and do things like that constantly, and anytime I try to stand up for myself, I'm called a "gay-basher?"

-I do disapprove of homosexuality but I would NEVER purposely insult someone.
-I have been "legally" sexually assaulted. It wasn't rape or anything or that...erhm...magnitude, but I just want you to know and am more sensitive toward this stuff than other people seem to let on.

If you are being put in physical contact against your will, you need to report it to the school. That's not ok. I'm not sure why you care if other people are gay or bisexual, but that's besides the point if you are being touched without your permission. But I can't quite tell from your post if it's other people engaging in physical contact with each other you don't like? If you're not the one being touched here, while you may not understand or approve of it, that's their right to do so as long as consent is involved.

Or is it that you're the one being touched? If you are being touched when you don't want to be, firmly tell them you do not like it and it needs to stop. You don't need to give a reason. There's no need to bring in the person's sexuality. It doesn't matter why you don't want to be touched. If you say no, that should be the end of it, period. If it continues, you need to tell the teachers/principal immediately, as that is assault. Again, just tell them you are being physically contacted when you have stated you do not want to be so. You really don't have to give them any reason for it. Your body is yours and it should never be forced into physical contact against your will.

So I don't entirely understand the situation here, but definitely keep yourself safe without worrying about giving reasons for not liking it. The person's sexuality doesn't matter. Whether your dislike is due to your past or not is none of their business. You don't like it, and that's enough reason for them to stop immediately.

Hey,

Sexual abuse is not the same as bullying. In any sense of the word.

If you are being touched against your will you need to report it - and if your school will refuse to do anything to stop it, then report it to the police.

Standing up for yourself and protecting your own personal space is not 'bashing' anyone. It is a basic human right.

It's not me being touched, it's lots of other people who don't enjoy it. I try to stand up for them, but then everyone else is like "DIE BIGOT DIE."
School, won't do anything about it
Police....does even less.

If this is the case I suggest talking to a parent/responsible adult that you trust. Alternatively report this to an organisation such as childline.

Can you encourage those people individually to report it? Do you know why they don't do so, if they don't like it? Have they specifically said they don't like it? No one should be touched against their will, and that has nothing to do with being bigoted. Could you talk with a school principal or teacher or other staff member rather than the specific perpetrators involved?

Meh, I've not. The people don't report it mostly cause if they say they don't like it it's all ike "Bro, we're just kidding, take a chill pill. It's just playing around, don't take it all seriously."
