Question about Driving Lessons
So, I'm thinking of taking driving lessons. Problem is that I'm not good at exams.
If you have taken lessons and can give me any tips or advice on the theory and practical lessons, or even on what school to use please!!!
Also, I'm colourblind... How much will this effect the results and the test itself?

Colour blind-ness will not effect your test or results, it is not something that has to be notified to the DVLA. It shouldnt really pose any issue unless your in the police, they dont allow colour blind people drive.
My advice is get one of the dvds with the tests on and just keep going through it over and over, that was the easiest way for me to learn the highway code etc.
Cant recommend a school tho as i had a local private instructor. You may want to shop around tho as prices can vary alot depending on who you go with.
Best of luck. =)

Cuz we all spend half our time running around, f*cked out of our minds
And we spend the other half sleeping at desks and praying just to get back...

The place I grew up on lets you get your open license at sixteen. There are less than five hundred cars there. I moved to australia and converted it to an Australian license [still sixteen] and suddenly had to deal with traffic lights and lanes and other cars and seat belts. Yes, seat belts were alien to me.
I think the best thing is to go in the deep end. Have the instructor take you onto a busy stretch of road, and when it is REMEMBER OR CRASH!!! You will sure as heck remember.

I went with BSM and they were really good, I had a woman who dealt well with nervous drivers, and I also learnt in an automatic, and they do student discounts.
It's worth buying the highway code and some of the theory practice DVD thingys, and a hazard perception practice one too.

Isn’t it funny how day by day nothing changes but when you look back, everything is different…
