Am I overreacting?
I am currently living in a house that I privately rent with a friend of mine and an ex girlfriend. (Yes I am well aware that it is bloody awkward, and if I am honest, I wouldn't have moved in with her in the first place, but that's another story.).
Anyway. Came downstairs to the kitchen wanting to make myself some sweet and sour chicken on chips. Go to the freezer, and the quarter bag of frozen chips that I wanted to use (that I bought) has disappeared. Glance over to the trashcan, and the packet is right there. Now I know that my friend doesn't even like the particular brand of chips that I buy, and looking over plates in the sink, her plate, and a plate that I assume is being used to cater for her new beau have a couple of stray chips on that they evidently forgot to eat. That look exactly like the brand that I use. And seeing as there was no other bag of frozen chips in the house today aside from mine, then its a reasonable assumption surely to think that she is the one who has eaten them with the new bloke right?
It's really pissed me off. I made my dinner with rice instead, so it didn't stop me eating, but the principle that she has taken food of mine and cooked it for the new guy, without even asking if she was ok with taking MY food, has really really pissed me off.
Am I making a big fuss about nothing? Please let me know.
