Reviews Requested- Safe - Before I Die...
This piece is something I've wrote for a new poetry night at the Torriano Pub called "Before I Die - Poetry and Performance" on Nov 6th. I thought I would write this and see how it goes. It's called "Before I die..."
Before I die, I want to be able to say that I have lived.
I want to be able to say that I'm a good person.... but I can't.
I want to be able to run, jump, sing and dance in the rain....
I want to be able to cook a meal without blowing up the kitchen, but we can all dream.
Before I die, I want to finally accept the fact that Pot Noodle is not a viable food stuff.
I want to be able to be brave when seeing my wife as she sleeps without thinking of all the pain that she goes through due to her M.S.
Before I die, I want to say I Love You to the people who matter the most.
But most of all.... Before I die, I want to be able to say, I have lived.
