... some peoples user name thingys say they joined the site before it was launched yesterday? i never did understand how people got their thread/ post numbers brought over as well. explain to me please people.

also, how come some threads appear in bold and others dont?

I think it's the staff members (who have been on here ages!) who've had their join dates moved over.

We're all waiting for emails to tell us when we can have ours changed over - when V2 read only is ready. It says how to do it on the main site, but we can't yet.

I wondered why some threads were bold - I think it's the ones with trigger warnings on though.

Oh, it's not that the bold ones are the trigger warning ones, those ones are different colours. The ones in bold are the ones you've been in/have no new replies since you were there I think..

Ok, the people with their join dates a lot earlier than June are staff members who have been here for a little while and who have had their post count and join date moved over from V2.

If you'd like your post count and join date moved over from V2, you have to send Harley a link to your profile. However, I'm not sure if the links will be available when V2 becomes the read-only version. Someone on the MRSO team, or Harley should be able to tell you that.

Threads with a title in bold are either ones you haven't read, or ones that you've read with new replies. As soon as you click on a title, it acknowledges it as being read and the title will not be bolded again until a new post is made.

The threads with black, bolded titles with asterix's are threads with a label - anything from a triggering post to highlighting a thread that needs to be read by a moderator.

as soon as v2 is up you will be able to go onto your old profile to get your join dates changed :)
