Please help! So worried... MH and work

Basically I suffer from an eating disorder, severe anxiety & I've just been diagnosed as Bi-polar.
I'm struggling alot atm.
I can't function, I'm crying alot, having panic attacks & distressed by unwanted thoughts and images of suicide. My ED behaviours are also quiet bad.

Work know what's going on,
My mental state has impacted on my ability in work as I turned up for my shift a crying mess and had am anxiety attack on Thursday.
I've had alot of time off. So much so I'm getting a warning. This is distressing me and making my anxiety much worse because I'm trying to learn to function and manage but my treatment is up in the air & I'm on no medication.
I'm worried ill get fired as I was told about the warning yesterday but after a bad night & morning I rang in sick again.

What should I do? Can I be fired? I'm trying so hard to sort my MH out.
I can't lose my job. It took me a long time to get it because I'd spent alot of time ill due to my ED. my company understood and gave me a chance. I feel do stupid I just want to be okay enough to live normally.

I am not a freak..
I was born with my freedom.

I'm sorry things are so hard right now, but it sounds like you're trying really hard to keep working on recovery, which is really good.
Do you have an occupational health service at your company? Perhaps you could speak to them about reducing your working hours/adding extra support for you to make going to work easier? Maybe your manager/boss could help with this?
How up in the air is your treatment? Do you feel you could get more support from your GP about managing things a little more until something more substantial is set up?
A warning doesn't immediately mean you are getting fired. Try to stop your thoughts from jumping to that future possibility because there is a lot of time and a lot of measures your work can be doing to support you right now. The warning is just there to say "this is an issue" which you are aware of as well, and it means so are they.
Don't feel stupid, you're doing very well and a lot of people wouldn't be able to cope with work and the way you are feeling at the same time.
Take care of yourself

Hey.

Sorry things are so difficult for you right now.

The first thing to do would be to arrange a meeting with your manager/supervisor and a HR rep.

Ask to have an Occupational Health assessment to see if your hours/shifts/duties could be changes to make work more manageable for you. They also provide you some assurance that you won't be out and out dismissed.

It may also help to speak to ACAS who deal with work issues/disputes. They may be able to advise you further on your rights regarding MH issues.

I went through all this process with my work so if you ever wanna talk or have questions feel free to drop me a PM.

It's the ups and downs of living life this way. Promise me you'll never go away. Just stay with me through one more night because it's always darkest before the light and now I promise you I'll never turn away. I won't let you give us one less heart to break...

Thank you so much for the replies! I know I shouldn't worry but I can't help it.
The treatment atm is trying to find suitable medication & therapy. I already have eating disorder treatment but all the medications seem to have weight gain side effects which I obviously won't handle.

Should I get my therapist or GP to write a letter to my work to explain my need to be off?
I think I will ask for a meeting though that's a good idea because I know of done changes that if were put in place could help.

Hi, I'm sorry to hear that you're having such a hard time right now. I don't have a huge amount of advice but I also have bipolar (II) and an eating disorder and am on a mood stabilizer that doesn't cause weight gain, there are a few out there but it can take awhile to find the right one. Please don't give up, I don't know the UK system but I hope that you are able to sort something out

xx
