I think you should let her know because its obviously bothering you a lot.
I think she will believe you are seeing them and then you can look together on how you can deal with that.

I'm very sorry you weren't believed when you told CAMHS. I really do think you should tell your psychologist about the masks tomorrow. Right now I wouldn't worry too much about the wording lovely because once she knows about them she can ask you about the rest of what she needs to know. Just take it one step at a time but yes you definitely should tell her.
Good luck :)

Definitely agree with the above. It's so frustrating that you weren't listened to properly in CAMHS, because things like that massively damage trust. It would be a shame for you not to get the support you need because of that experience. This post was well-worded, perhaps you could print it out to show your psychologist? Good luck.

CAMHS didn't listen to me when I started hallucinating (mostly voices around me and people in my room when they weren't supposed to be there) but then that's because I had a counsellor and most counsellors don't understand me. I ended up being hospitalised at 15.
My advice to you is to keep trying with them, and if that doesn't work then I'm not sure if you can tell your GP or similar.

PM me if you want a PDF copy of the ICD-10 or the Mental Health Act 1983/2007. I ALSO HAVE THE DSM-V BOOK and am a pharmacology student.
I have a visual impairment / neurological problems so I need people to type in clear text and no funny fonts. Also excuse any typos, my vision blocks things out.
I have autism and have problems communicating, PMs included.
Just becasue I type well doesn't mean I speak well. I am only part time verbal.

I think people often associate hearing and seeing things with psychosis and yet at some point or another almost everyone will hallucinate. There are a lot of reasons including lack of sleep, being unwell, stress and so on.
So do talk about it with your psychiatrist as they are clearly distressing you and CAMHS can look into them with you and ultimately help you with them whatever the root cause.

It sounds like you feel she dismissed your concerns, but do tell your psychiatrist. It may be your psychologist doesn't feel fits in with the work you're doing right now. Visions can be caused by many things and psychiatrists are medically trained, so it would be wise to mention it to your psychiatrist so that appropriate help can be given.

When are you seeing your psychiatrist next? It definitely sounds like it's worth mentioning to her. How are you feeling now?
I hope things feel a bit easier for you xx
