Reviews Requested- Contains upsetting material - No goodbyes (poem)
Slice and dice, words collide
Deep in this hole called life.
Some move fast
Other die slow,
We must provide
The answer to the world.
He who resists
(The glories and the sins)
Won’t make the plants
Die from the frost wind.
Innocent at first
Delicate at sight,
With a razor on a hand
And the other a fist tight.
Extreme anxiety, lack of self esteem
Will make a prisoner of this young teen.
Taking all that's good
Leaving the rest
She dreams of a world
Solely of scarlet red.
With lines deep as valleys
And scars that draw hearts
No man no woman
Could predict such harm.
Her wrists aren't clean
Her thighs no longer touch
Her hips bleed to death
And she doesn't seem to realize.
One more, three now
Ten later, the numbers seem to grow.
"Please make it stop" she says
Screaming at the wind
"i'd do anything, if you let me win
This fight we call life
Please don't make me stay behind
I need to live" she points at her wrists
"I need an escape.
Something that drive the pain away"
Her eyes are flooded, her hands are shaking
"Please" she begs "please" she asks
"Why won't you answer my replies?"
Her mind has no answer.
It all goes blank.
No letters, no numbers
No goodbyes and farewells.
