Personal Piece - Safe - Ideas?
Hmm, next story; what to base it on? I already know that a dark, mysterious story line will definitely be in the playing field, but beyond that my writer's block is absolutely killing me.
Set in the present day, the story will be taking place in the heart of an indescribable city where one person's outcome is as grim as the next, in a place where no light shines through and a place where the city undoubtedly changes you. The game here is simple--- every man for himself. Gang culture and crime have overruled everything else ever created by man. Humankind has been abolished and no one is safe, not even the toughest criminals bound to jail for their copious amounts of bad behaviour. It's a city where survival is as good as it gets and where laying low and pretending your being never existed in the first place is the easy way out of everything known to man.
As far as the characters in this unforeseen city are portrayed; I've created some character profiles, mind you, not all of them yet, and I've provided brief summaries, as follows:
Jasmine Nevaeh Romanov; the once innocent but now mislead and deceiving female lead. Bound by her past and restricted by her promiscuous and unhealthy lifestyle choices, she has nowhere to go and no one to turn to, so she turns as a last resort to the city of broken promises for the answers she may never find.
Vincent Gabriel Castello; the douche bag type ex whose actions have made Jasmine the person she is so ashamed of today. Afraid of the gang life and missing the point of key priorities in his life, he's been consumed by his ways and the city itself for far to long; so long that he feels he can never be freed of his many sins.
Briona Rose and Iliana Aria Castello; the twin terrors following in their parents' footsteps to a life of misery and disappointment. Born into a life of resentment and lies untold, their future looks nothing like it should. Growing up in the wretched city, their only way out is so far from a life of normalcy that it can't even be considered living anymore.
I know many other characters are yet to come to my mind, including individuals who find meddling with others' lives an amusing past time, victims of unforgiving crimes, and the occasional character that's just too benevolent for their own good.
