I'M GOING TO THE SEASIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I best get my sun glasses and camera out.

I live near the coast, and spend three-quarters of my life in coastal towns. The seaside is mostly horrible, with the beaches covered in all sorts and the water quality awful! Gotta love the west coast of Scotland...

If you do go to the seaside, try to go to a smaller town. The beaches are normally nicer and normally much quieter.

My friend is driving us, so I don't know which beach we're going to. Probably near Ayr or maybe Largs. This is the first time we've been in ages in good weather. Usually we go when it's pouring down with rain, because we're sensible that way.

Hope you have a fab time. I live in a seaside town and avoid the town centre/beach like the plague in the summer because it's heaving with Grockles.

I found it hard to get motivated but I had a good day with my friend. We tried to go to Ayr but it was just to busy. We found a little place called Maidens. Here are some photos. There where lots of jelly fish, which you can see in my photo. They scared my friend.

It was a good find. I especially liked walking along that pier in the first photo and laughing at my friends squealing at the jelly fish.

Here are a couple more. The second shows how far along the pier we walked. Not the safest of walks, but the sea was calm enough and we felt brave (or foolish).
