They say there comes a time when it's finally time to leave
So when you sit there in my room I ask, please never grieve.
I'm in a better place now here without the depression
that is slowly killing my brain and starts a regression
of thought patterns harmful, degenerate dreams
of life without me, or well, so it seems.
Those lithium tablets, oh they sure sank
down into that smirnoff bottle that I drank
to take away the pain and the sorrow inside
that I felt before I left on the day I should have died.
You all may wonder why is he saying this
is he trying to be clever, is he taking the piss?
Well, the fact is my friends that this once was me
This was meant to be the final letter anyone would see but now
It's down in poem form now to remind me though
that yes, life IS full of trouble and life IS full of woe
but as long as people care, then I know there's no need to cry
So I think I''ll finish up right here and now I'll say goodbye.
