Hey guys...

Hey there. So I haven't been on here for a while and some stuff has come up that I really can't deal with alone.
My best friend, Cameron, and I got into a huge fight. We have been in this fight for four months now. He thinks I did some thing that I didn't do but won't listen when I tell him I really didn't do it. He also freaked out when we were discussing me having depression and I told him I think be does as well. He has had a very bad life and has gotten into smoking and drinking (he's thirteen). Now he keeps asking me about that but won't answer when I ask him why he's still mad. This fight has caused me to go down a spiral of depression. I don't have many friends and my friends are also Cameron's friends but they are siding with him on this (one of them does drugs but the other is clean of everything).
Also, I'm worried my boyfriend is going to see my cuts and freak out. I recently had a slip up and don't want him to know so I need help on how to cover up my wrist...

I accedently posted this to Mental Health when I wanted to post it to self harm.... Sorry! I guess it can go both ways because ive been feeling extremely depressed lately but if you have any advice then I would love to hear it but if not then feel free to move on. Sorry again for the mistake!

Hi there.

Sorry you're struggling so much right now and that you relapsed.

It sounds like you're in a tough situation right now. Do you think it might help to maybe write to your friend explaining about the thing you are fighting about and about why you think he may be suffering with depression? Sometimes it helps to first try to put the thoughts into words as things can be said in the heat of the moment which we regret or we don't explain properly. Also, it allows him to read it slowly and understand fully before answering?

Maybe it's best to tell your boyfriend about the relapse? Surely it's better you admit it rather than him finding out for himself?

I'll try telling my boyfriend about it... He might understand since he's been in a similar situation before so maybe he'll understand? I don't know, it's worth a shot. Thanks for the advice!
