There is prolly no way to retireve the post that got eaten.

Have you checked the "remember me" box when you log in?

Try checking that box and seeing if that fixes the problem.

Well it breaks my heart to see you this way,
The beauty in life, where's it gone?
And somebody told me you were doing okay,
Somehow I guess they were wrong.

If you were using "Post Quick Reply", logging in when requested, when you clicked the Post button should still result in your reply being posted to the forum.

Certainly this works in IE7 as I've done it several times by accident myself!

good idea to 'remeber me' but for privacy/safety i dont feel comfortable with that (I have a teenager who knows some, as i told her...and....well kids are curious...) But thank you.

When/if you use 'quick reply' doesnt that remove your AV and sig from the post?
I noticed you can save a draft in PM's is it posible to have that option, IF you know it may b long? Or will that take up up too much space, use too much space, cost more?

And i dint mean to sound so totally pissed off in the first post...was just a little a frustrtd...even tho i KNOW it looks i was 'yelling' at you...i reeeeaaalllyyy wanst ;o)

Edit for two things...i just answered my own question as to quick reply...it quite obviously offers the option of sig in reply.
And the second...i used a text smilie...did NOT disable them, and it worked...wonder if now since i've used a 'real' smilie what will happen to old text one...haha...a mystery....
no, im not awake yet
