Exhausted and scared

Hey guys. My first post lol so yea
On January I started hearing voices. But nothing friendly or even soft lol. I was under Alot of stress. I think the most ever, won't say what ecxalty but yea was a really hard week for me. I was I my room and all of the sudden I started hearing loud voices saying negative stuff about me. Some voices I knew (family members and friends) but there was one which I can't identify who was the loudest and the most graphic. He was going as far as urging me to do self harm as I did as a teen (which I'm not proud at all and of course do not recomed people to do). Ever since that day I haven't heard them as loud mainly whisper but all negative. I really have no idea what to do. I'm tired, scared and even angry at myself. Please any way I can get myself out of this?

Hi there.

Welcome to RYL :)

Do you see any professionals in regards your MH? I think it might be helpful for you to.

It sounds like a very stressful and distressing thing to experience.

No, i haven't spoken to any professional or anything. I'm kinda nervous of that really xD but i know ill probably end up there. Was trying to not get to that point but yea been months. Also i had never spoken to anyone who had this kind of problem. So i guess i just don't want to sound crazy, which i probably failed at the moment lol i guess im looking for something dont know what really

I know it can be a scary thought thinking about getting help but often it is the thought that is scarier than actually taking action and getting help. What about seeing a professional makes you nervous? I think if the voices are having a negative impact on your life it is worth talking to a professional about it as they will have the skills and resources to help you in the best way possible.

In the meantime have you tried listening to music through headphones as sometimes this can help block out the voices. Also it is important to tell yourself that these are voices and you still hold the control of whether to hurt yourself or not. Hold on there, you will get through this. Take care

well honestly i guess i didnt wanna make a bug deal of this. That's why i was trying to look for info like crazy and do anything possible to make the voices stop. So far ive done exercises, music and reading. They have help most of the times, but when ever im stressed well yea i can hear whispers =/ guess im answering my own questions

If it is impacting on your life though, I don't think you are making a big deal of it by asking for help. It's okay to ask for help if you need it

Hey guys. Thanks for the post.
So finally accepted that I needed an outside help seeing as voices are still there. I haven't seen any improvement pretty much the opposite.

Was a hard time picking a psychologist I could go to and when I finally had the guts she said she was busy and that she would call me later with time for an appointment which turned up 3 days later on my voicemail lol. I understand that stuff happens but kinda seem even harder to open up like that and it's already hard for me.

I feel they are worse... I think I'm making it worse. When ever I feel any anxiety I expect the voices and ever since a week ago I think I'm seeing stuff but I think it's all me. Most are objects or figures but I know it's all my imagination I'm kinda losing it lol. I can't sleep much and I'm relaying on lots of coffe which I know I won't help at all but it's the only way I can concentrate for my uni. And my eyes are twitching like crazy.
Next step is finding another psychologist. And I guess telling my parents.
On the good side I've had no panic attack since my first
