Itchy!

Hi!

I dont know where this thread belongs, the nearest thing would probably be first aid, but its not first aidy really D:

I usually get my eye brows threaded but because I havent had a chance to get them done at home for a while I had super bush man eyebrows. (Perils of liking thick eyebrows.) So I tweezed them. They went a bit red but that went away but now the skin all around where Ive tweezed is so so so itchy.

Ive tried a cold water compress and used a make up wipe to try and soothe it but nothing is working. I want to scratch my eyebrows off right now D:

How do I fix this?!x

Try aloe vera gel/cream if you can get any.

Sometimes though adding more stuff just makes it more itchy, hopefully if you try and ignore it then it will stop soon!

I would also echo aloe Vera gel. Or a cold cream. If its stinging a bit, I found germoline to soothe it a little as it has a local anaesthetic in it.

Try alot of moisturiser is well.

Put teaspoons in the freezer for a while then take out and hold against eyebrow.
Caution: do not get a cold burn.

The spoon worked! Also I think going to sleep and leaving it alone may have helped, yay!x

I get mine waxed and afterwards the lady wipes tea tree oil over them, perhaps that would work as well as the frozen spoon.

I've always heard an aspirin crushed in a little bit of water to form a paste is a good way to lessen swelling, redness and bruising in these kinds of situations.
