PMDD

Does anyone have this?

I watched a documentary on it and it said that women who have it get ONE week of normalcy. It made alot of sense to me and helped me to understand what happens to me.

It's terrible.

I'd appreciate some replies.
Thanks.

Have they discussed long term use of the pill or other contraeption to reduce your symptoms?

They recommend Prozac but I'm Bipolar and my psych is hesitant to put me on it because it can cause extreme mania.

I can't take the pill because I'm at risk for blood clots, that's why I have to wear these compression stockings up to my knees all the time. My family history is terrible health wise. Many heart attacks, strokes, high blood pressure, and my Dad had many blood clots and almost lost his arm due to it.

Thanks Manda.

There is more than the pill rachie, implant, injections, the mini pill is better for clots than the regular pill, you just take the 21 active pills followed by another 21 active pills etc. Ultimately might a hysterectomy suit you?
