Pregabalin...

So I have anxiety issues - and the psychiatrist might be prescribing me Pregabalin. Never heard of the drug since now!

Has anyone been on it? What's your experience? Thanks

I've been on it but to be honest I don't remember if it helped very much. It's worth a try though. I hope it helps you.

I put it down on paper and then the ghost does not ache so much.

Don't try to calm the storm, calm yourself, the storm will pass.

I haven't been on it myself but hopefully people with experience of it will be along shortly....

On a quick search it appears it's less additive and sedative than benzodiazepines, so hopefully you'll find it useful!

My love, a beautiful future awaits

Hi..ive been on this medication for a while. Ive had no side effects, no weight gain and its been very helpful in reducing most of my anxiety issues. I take two pills of 150mg, one during the day and one at night

Its also known as lyrica

I realise that meds affect people in different ways, I hope it helps you x

Typically it is a pain med but it is also prescribed for anxiety.

I felt horrific when I first went on but persevere things do get better.

It apparantly has a short half life so you need to take it more than once a day.

I have found it helpful though and it's not addictive etc
