this seems to be the most approperiate place i've recenttly been diagnosed with a disease called raynaurds but its pretty serveare and will need sergery and I could end up with tissue damage and losing my fingers / toes over all.
I just really need some hugs / encouragement that that things are going to be okay and what to expect when I go to hospitla please, I'm so frightened.

I'm so sorry to hear about that, it must be very frightening for you. Staff in hospitals though are trained to care for you and will know you are nervous so can help to put your mind at ease.

The staff will tell you as much as you want to know. Ask them anything. They will ask you a few questions and get you to sign a consent form. You won't be able to eat for a while before the anaesthetic. They will ask you to remove any jewellery and wear these stockings to prevent clots.
The people in the anaesthetic room are nice and all you have to do is sit back answer a few questions, breathe some gas and sleep.
You will be fine x they always have to warn of the risks but to do the surgery the benefits have to out weigh the risks xx

I'm sorry you're going through something so scary but just so you are aware Reynaud's is not 'untreatable'. It isn't 'curable' but there are many things that can be done to control it and it is very very rare to lose fingers/toes to it.
What are you actually going to hospital to have done? That will help us know what might happen.

I have Raynauds, and although it becomes rather painful in the colder months, it is definitely manageable on medication. I'm not currently on meds for it (literally because i'm too lazy to speak to the Doctor and it's not bothering me so much at the moment), but it might help to speak to your GP about the options.
As has already been mentioned, losing digits because of it is extremely rare, but if you say your case is particularly severe, then i wish you the best of luck and hope it doesn't come to that! I believe there is a good chance your Doctor can help you to manage just on medication :)

Rarely on here nowadays - I just trauma dump on TikTok instead.
I have Raynaud's too, but it's not so severe. Have they given you any gloves or socks on prescription? The ones they gave me were awful, but I hope services in other areas might be a bit better!

i to have Raynauds. im told its a syndrome not a disease and that it can be managed in various ways. my biggest problen is during the older months where i have to wear heated socks and gloves and when i get stressed i get attacks also. they arent too severe so i dont take anything for it. im told that ginger helps and avoid caffeine so i do both of these, no idea whether it helps but i cant hurt. as others have said losing digits is rare but if this is the case i offer my sympathy and wish you luck.
