I am turning the grand old age of 26 in a months time and instead of being a grown up I have decided the only way to celebrate is to have an 'adventure time' themed birthday party. As we (my friend and I) cant find many decorations for such a specific theme we are heavily subsidising it with rainbow theme!
What I am stuck on mostly is rainbow food/beverages, the only thing we have come up with is smarties and skittles vodka and a rainbow birthday cake. Not entirely sure that will sustain everyone. Does anyone have any ideas? The more imaginative the better!
Also any kind of decoration ideas would be wicked. We have already made rainbows out of paper plates (will attach a photo when my phone stops being stupid) and were making rainbow pom poms, but any other ideas would be awesome.
Thanks!
P.S. Were students, so nothing too expensive ;] x
There are times to stay put, and what you want will come to you.
But there are times to go out into the world and find such a thing for yourself.

I think that if you layer the jelly it will be more difficult or will run into the other colours..... therfore I vote for separate! This is also good for fussy eaters who may not like all the flavours.
Now I'll play your ghost as my ace, whenever I'm led astray.
But I am actually good, can't help it if we're tilted.
I'm in my right place, don't be a downer.
Could put party glitter or confetti on the table counters etc, here anyways is often bunch if colors in the same pack. Or can make your own out of colored paper. Also could make diff colored party hats with colored paper and decorate everyones head :p Wow thats a lot of rainbow foods on the link!
Every day the world is made a chance to change but i feel the same.
And I wonder why would i wait till i die to come alive?"
All alone the way she feels
Left alone to deal with all the pain-drenched sorrow relief
- but different colour food colourings in ice cube trays so that any clear drink with ice can become rainbow coloured.
- get some hummus and other bull **** and then chop sticks of food and arrange rainbowly.. so like.. cherry tomatoes, carrot, yellow pepper, cucumber, purple sprouting broccoli. etc etc.
- bowls of smarties/m&ms
- these (you could use different colours in one instead of all one colour)
- get a load of balloons.
- tricolour pasta.
- paper chains .. you know the ones you make with strips of papper into circles and linked.
- fill a jar with different colour crayons for decoration. (and leave out paper so that you can get drunk pictures from friends.
The tissue paper flowers are what were making....need moar tissue paper.
Good ideas!x

You NEED to have candy. From the Candy Kingdom, obviously. So some peppermints, cinnamon buns, etc. If it was me I'd make a small snail (make it out of paper) and put it on a shelf. I'd know it was there but hardly anyone else would notice it.
I could totally make rainbow cinnamon buns! OH MY GLOB! There will be much candy, were trying to recreate the candy kingdom sort of. Haha yes totally need the snail.x
