Graduated in 2011 with a degree in Psychology with Clinical Psychology. :)
Veered away from Clinical (although I did like the two Clinical modules we did), and have now applied for an MSc in Forensic Psych. But still got interview to get through so just hoping they give me a chance. >.<
Ooh, that's a cool one. It was on my original short list. Which was actually a very long list, but anywho. Are you enjoying it?
Did you mean mine?
It's been a little bit of a recap so a lot of it I already know (which can be a bit annoying) but it is fun and I have also learnt a lot. They give us so many opportunities for work experience too, it's great.
How come you decided on maths in the end? (If you don't mind me asking :) )
Yup. It sounded pretty cool.
Actually, I chose engineering, hated it, got sad (hence RYL) and dropped out. At the time, I had no idea what to pick, so got a list of every science/math/etc. degree offered by one uni, short listed them and picked one at random. Note to those still choosing their degree, this is not a good strategy. :p
Maths seemed like a logical (2nd) choice; I was very good at it, so it was easy.
It doesn't matter where you come from; it matters where you go.
No-one gets remembered for the things they didn't do.
We won't all be here this time next year,
so while you can take a picture of us.
We're definitely going to hell,
but we'll have all the best stories to tell.
Currently 2nd year theology, would have loved to have studied music though.
Do not be dismayed by the brokenness of the world. All things can be mended. Not with time, as they say, but with intention. So go. Love intentionally, extravagantly, unconditionally. The broken world awaits in darkness for the light that is you.
