Voices

I'm Hearing voices most of the time and it's really effecting my day to day life.

I am due to start therapy for psychosis in January. However untill then I need to get thought the rest of this month.

I have a mixture of voices: some damanding, some helpful and some just random/disorganised.

I have been trying to ignore the voice and not get caught up in what they are saying or trying not to anwser back/talk to them.
Is this my best option or am I better off listening to them and telling them to stop.
I know the latter makes me look crazy but if it stops them then I don't care.

If anyone can help that would be great.
Thanks

If telling them to stop helps, then do it.

Most people don't look twice in public now anyway because of all the people that have Bluetooth headsets now.

Does writing to your voices help?
Might sound weird, but when I was diagnosed schizophrenic and I heard voices, I'd write out replies to what they were saying, a bit like a script, and that really worked for me.

Xx

I'm fine! Totally fine. I don't know why it's coming out all loud and squeaky, 'cause really, I'm fine!

Who else is fine?!?!?

I sometimes find listening to music can help.
Personally for me talking back to them helps, even though I probably look rather crazy in doing so.
