geting help

I have borderline. It seems if Im alone im stable. If I see a therapist Im not stable thats the truth. Any ways just venting.I might be going to this year long residential treatment place. Honestly a few times I have been like yay ill go this is great new start at life and so on. And then another times Im like no I dont need to. I really dont think I need to go but everyone else says I do I jsut dont know what to beleive I feel like Im going bec they say I do not bec I want to well a little bit of me wants to go but the other part is saying I dont need to be gone for a whole year. The thing that sucks is you never know if it will change your life until your in the treatment place thats what sucks. I dont know the future if I go will I be so happy I did. I know not right away but once I stayed there for a long time or what.

Therapist all they do is hurt me and give up on me and leave me and just literaly screw up my life and make my life hell get me in trouble for stupid reaosn jsut hurt me use me. Im seriously done with therapist. Since Im pretty sure Im done with therapist for good forever I feel like I could go back to college and be okay instead of the treatment place. I will probably go in january to this treatment place I just hate that its going to put me more behind in school by going bec Ill only be doing online and you cant do as many classes online as you would when your in the school which sucks.

I feel like the faster I do this go to the treatment place and get out the faster I can get on with my life and get moving faster in college bec I dont want it to take forever I want to be a therapist by 26 or 27 years old. I just kinda hate that I have to go }: I dont feel like I need to. I dont understand why I feel like I dont need to and others think I do.

I really want to be a therapist that is my passion. People making me out to be a bad person on the chats I dont appreciate it at all. YOU DONT KNOW ME SO DONT JUDGE ME. AND DONT SAY IM VILOLENT WHEN YOU DONT KNOW ME . IM A CHRISTIAN I AM NOT VIOLENT WHAT SO EVER AND I AM NEVER VIOLENT TOWARDS PEOPLE OR ANIMALS NEVER WILL BE. Im a hurting person that is all my intentions are never to hurt any one its to get them to care about me to not leave me to work it out.

I know what you mean about "if I'm alone I'm stable". It took me a very long time to realize that I needed to work on being more stable WITH people, rather than desperately trying to force myself to be alone. I couldn't see that there was anything I needed to work on at all; it just seemed as if everyone left me, or was only pretending to like me, or wanted something from me. I couldn't even distinguish between those who were actually trying to be there for me and those who really were just using me, because I was so good at finding evidence that people were not my friend that everyone looked the same through my lens.

It's hard, when you think that everyone is leaving you, to tell the good from the bad, the true from the fake. But you can do it, not just with therapists, but with everyone else. It sounds like this place will be able to help you do that...so since you're going, try and see it from others' perspective so that you understand what to work toward. It's much preferable to recognize why you need to go on your own, without having to hit rock bottom first.

I hope it goes well for you. Remember, your therapists are there to help, but not to be a close friend in the typical sense. If you become too dependent on them, or too close, they will have to take a step back. That's not leaving you, it's them continuing to try to help you. It's not fun, but it's more beneficial in the long run.

Remember to challenge your perceptions of people...I don't know about you, but I found that at some point I had to remember that I was biased and my initial perceptions were not always trustworthy. I was simply too good at seeing signs of insult and apathy from my friends, and not good at believing the evidence that they were my friends.

Best of luck to you...I really hope that you find a good goal for yourself (socially) and that you make it. And I especially hope that some day you do become a therapist and you are able to put what you've learned the hard way into good use.
