Revenge?

Hey all,
My floor mate deliberately started an argument with me yesterday about the eletric meters. He refuses to use the gas radators as "he can't afford them" but it willing to put the eletric heater on which is stupidly expensive. my side of it was that we are barely keeping the eletric meter in money and have been cut off god knowshow many times and thats without anyone using the eletric heaters to start with. if he uses his heater he will have to put more money on the meter which he has refused to do. i said that ment we wouldnt have power for the rest of us and he told me to sit and swivle and im evil etc etc etc and a load of bull **** later.
Now.... this is my question. i know he has a valid point however i want to ring the landlord becuase im sick of this now. i had to spend 5 days last week at my mothers then pay once again to get eletric on the damn meter on sunday.
Is it petty to ring the landlord knowing full well he is trying to kick on of them out and tell him that it is floor mate A causing the problems?.
Does that count as revenge? The whole fight really messed me over mentally as anyone who was in chat yesterday heard about the kind of comments that floor mate A says on a regular basis.
i dont know what to do.
Do I ring the landlord and complain?
Or Do i Leave it?

If it's impossible to reach an agreement without your landlord then yes I would contact them, this is your home, and you deserve to be comfortable there..

I don't think it's petty to ring your landlord at all, it's what I'd do in that situation. I can imagine that it would get to you, so I hope you manage to get it sorted out whichever way you need to.

i rang the landlord ealier in the end. i was honest with him and said that even though floor mate A is my friend that i cant cope with this anymore and its putting my health at risk. hes going to drop in and ask allof us for reciepts for the power meter and if floor mate A cant show his he is going to give him notice and throw him out.
it just annoys me. im not in a position to be able to get his window fixed. dont understand why hes constantly go at me about it.

I think what you did is fair as he said he was not willing to pay anymore and that they are an expensive thing to run. Keep safe hun xxx
