Chemical Peels for Scars
Has anyone here tried chemical peels to get rid of scars? If so, what were your experiences? I bought a bottle of 70% TCA peel, but all it does is sting a little - it doesn't seem to be working :/

I think so. I just bought a bottle off Amazon and started putting it on, but it hasn't really worked.

I have never tried this and wouldn't have thought it suitable since scar tissue is different to normal skin. Did it come with guidance and instructions?

Chemical peals wont get rid of scars. Chemical peals take off layers of skin. i.e. 1-4 layers. Scar tissue is much, much deaper than that, otherwise scars would go away completely very quickly.

Cosmetic surgeons use a much stronger solution to get rid of scars, but it takes a few'applications usually and is spot treatments due to the strength of the chemicals. I won't say how they do it, but they don't just apply it on the top, there's a certain technique involved.
