Do you take Vitamins?

Just curious how many people take a multivitamin, or any kind of vitamin... Do you take it specifically for anxiety, depression etc. or just because it can't hurt, right?

I take a multivitamin, as I'm sure I don't get enough nutrition in the day
A "B Stress Formula" for stress
D drops, which I hate taking, I forget often because they're not in pill form, but I try to make a point of taking extra D in the winter because I tend to get SAD.
When colds are abundant I tend to take extra C! Cuz I'm ALWAYS catching colds :(

I also have Cold FX I sometimes take (it's bloody expensive though :S), and then my meds daily... sometimes I feel like my breakfast is half pills lol

No. I have berocca semi regularly. And eat a lot of veg.
But I never remember to take any form of tablets so vitamins aren't much use for me as I forget to take them.

I take a Boots vitamin shot once, sometimes twice a day. They have other minerals and acids in that seriously help stop my muscle cramps & sometimes alleviate some symptoms from various illnesses.

Now I'll play your ghost as my ace, whenever I'm led astray.
But I am actually good, can't help it if we're tilted.
I'm in my right place, don't be a downer.

I take iron tablets, prescribed by my GP because I'm anemic. I did use to take multivitamins when I was anorexic but not anymore.

I don't take vitamins regularly, but if I feel I'm coming down with a cold I take vitamin C and zinc. I've found that really makes a difference and I'm not feeling ill as badly or for as long compared with when I don't take it.

I take calcium and vit D as prescribed and I did take omega 3 for all of a couple of months when CAMHS prescribed it, but not since.

I decided to take vitamins once, but after tasting them I gave up pretty quick!

Vitamin C has been proved to be as good as a placebo for colds, I've heard. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I take vitamin D and calcium combined as I used to have low calcium levels despite eating fine. I also take vitamin B12 as I'm a strict vegetarian.

PM me if you want a PDF copy of the ICD-10 or the Mental Health Act 1983/2007. I ALSO HAVE THE DSM-V BOOK and am a pharmacology student.

I have a visual impairment / neurological problems so I need people to type in clear text and no funny fonts. Also excuse any typos, my vision blocks things out.
I have autism and have problems communicating, PMs included.
Just becasue I type well doesn't mean I speak well. I am only part time verbal.

Do you know anything about vitamin C with zinc? I'm not terribly informed on such things but I do recall a news piece a little while ago on zinc being useful for colds.

I find it curious how many people have them prescribed! Around here, it's not too often a doctor prescribes something natural like vitamins... usually just prescription drugs :S

Things like calcium and vit D, Iron, and Potassium are prescribed often for people who have been found to be deficient because it's a problem to not have it corrected. I have osteopenia, which is the reason they gave me mine.

I've recently started taking a one-a-day multivitamin again because I don't have a very healthy diet.

I used to take chewable ones when I was younger that looked and tasted like gummies, but I ate them like candy so I had to stop!

Take a multivitamin every morning with my breakfast. Dr recommended them as I don't eat veg and very little fruit.
