Hi BrightEyes,
We can't diagnose you with Bipolar as we're not professionals but we can support you. If you are feeling all those symptoms then you should go and see your GP who can arrange an assessment for you to be seen by a psychiatrist. Hope this helps x

I suggest that you see your doctor and tell them all of your symptoms. It does sound like maybe there is something going on that can be treated.

I have bipolar but try not to focus on the diagnosis. I work to recognize where my mood is and fight the symptoms. When I am up I try to exercise and get that energy out and when I am down I try to distract and relax.

I can totally relate to how you feel.

Pretty much I'm in the same situation as you, I told some of my friends and some scorned me, ever since then I didn't dare to tell anyone not even to my family.

some of my best friends are accepting of me, I couldn't thank them enough for that.

The internet is full of lies so watch your step, try to ask a doctor about any questions you have, they're more reliable(although I have not seek a doctor after a few months of consideration..)

I was in a similar position to you and Meek. I did talk to my doctor, who told me even though I felt I had a lot of the symptoms you've described that I'm not bipolar. Be careful not to go in like I did with the HOPE that you are (I just wanted to be told they knew what was wrong so it could be fixed.)

I am now however being investigated for borderline personality disorder.

My advice would be to talk to a professional. You've spotted that something's clearly amiss with your behaviour/thoughts/feelings, you owe it to yourself to try and get help. Good luck!

I have to agree with the others that no one on ryl can diagnose so it's definately worth seeing your GP.

As Sunshine says the symptoms you have may be a result of bipolar but there are also many other diagnosis it can be.

I have bipolar and was eventually diagnosed when I had a manic episode. Despite this I had seen the Dr and found my GP helpful.

I would say don't go in with the above list of symptoms but what you struggle with on a regular basis.
