I am currently:
Zoloft side effect or mild case of serotonin syndrome?

This happened last week; I was bored and decided to take my mate's prescribed Zoloft 100mg.. around 2 hours later, I started to feel nauseous and felt like I was about to vomit. I excused myself from class and ran to the toilet, feeling sick in the stomach and then my arms and legs started to burn along with an icy-hot feeling under my armpits.. I was scared but it was quite the unique experience.

I was extremely agitated and felt like resting but I couldn't, I had a rapid heart-rate and my hands were trembling and I was sick to the stomach (my anxiety itself probably made me feel more sick).. I didn't feel disoriented or lightheaded.. but I didn't have oriented mental clarity.. When I went back to class, I could barely write, I just felt unwell..

1 hour later, the effects slightly eased down but I began to shiver and got extremely cold.. I excessively yawned and when I yawned I would get sick to the stomach and disoriented (this excessive and nauseous yawning proceeded for the next 2 days).

Another hour later, in class, the effects started going away, and then just 15 minutes later, they all went away and I felt good and I was relieved that the bad episode went away, it was a hilarious experience to begin with.. the next 3 days I had a few effects like excessive yawning and irregular trembling but that's about it..

I don't have any effects atm, they are all gone, considering it's the fact that Zoloft has a 26 hour half-life.

Now I'm trying to find out if:
A) This was a mild case of serotonin syndrome
B) This was a side-effect but with abnormal reactions but harmless and temporary
C) It reacted with my anxiety directly
D) 100mg was a lot to start with and my body had to slightly process that to work but created a reaction
E) -insert the most logical and finest explanation here-

Thanks for reading :D
I know, it was impulsive.

I personally think d. Because they are all side effects and mostly people start on 25mg. And even get similar side effects then. X

I hope for nothing. I fear nothing. I am free.
