Late night intruder (turns out its my brother)
So, I'm sitting in my room, reading and listening to music. It's about 2am. I hear something in the living room, so I go and check it out, thinking my mom is up again and on the computer.
I get out there, and notice that the Xbox, small flatscreen (my brother's) and several other things are missing. So of course, instead of calling for my dad, or getting my dog, I head towards the door.
Apparently my brother and his friend were heading out the door at that moment, because when I came around the corner they were both frozen like deer in the headlights. Both had their arms full of stuff.
My brother stares at me for a second, then smiled. "I thought you had a gun or something. All I could think about was how dead we were."
We both started laughing, the moment we realized we were not in immediate danger :)
I just found that kind of funny - the fact that my brother snuck into his house to take all of his stuff and take it to his friends house so they can stay up late and play video games.
Thought I'd share it, maybe someone else will get a laugh out of it too.
