A "Physically Ill" Support thread?

Hey,
I myself have CFS/ME and Fibro, I think a lot of members here would appreciate and benefit from a support thread for the mental stress's and complications of having a physical problem day to day. But my question is where would be most appropriate to pop it?

Thanks x

Just tonight, I wont leave and I'll lie and you'll believe. Just tonight I will see, that it's all because of me

I'd say General Support and Advice. I thought I saw a similar one in there about ME but I couldn't find it.

I too have M.E and other medical problems, I think there are quite a few of people on here who have medical illnesses, it may be useful, because not only do mental illnesses themselves cause distress, but being medically ill can also cause a lot of mental distress and it can make you feel worse, too, especially if it disrupts your life so much.

I'm not sure if other members would feel the same, in it being a good idea, but it can't hurt to give it a try and see if it could be helpful. It may help feeling less alone in being physically unwell and have others to talk to about it, relate to others, maybe even give some ideas on how to cope.

There are times to stay put, and what you want will come to you.
But there are times to go out into the world and find such a thing for yourself.

I was contemplating creating one the other day! Has one now been set up?

I would find a general Chronic Illness Support Thread to be a great idea. I've been thinking of making one too, but was unsure.

^^ It's kind of drifted off the pages. I imagine a thread for not just a specific illness, but a thread, like above suggested, for all general chronic illnesses would maybe go better?
