I think the one you're thinking of is Soul Surfer, which stars the same girl from Bridge to Terabithia.
But for me Steel Magnolias makes me cry every time I watch it, and it's one of my favorite movies so I've seen it alot heh
Also The Lion King, Mufasa's death still gets me after almost a decade.
