There is a registered charity, I think.

This http://www.emergenceplus.org.uk/ is the one I use, I've never been to a specific support group but I've been part of helping out with/been part of an art group for people with PDs.

I know that there is/was one in Edinburgh for BPD but I don't know how common they are. You could try contacting Mind or other general mental health charities--they could probably put you onto something if there is one in your area.

Thanks guys.
I don't actually have a PD but I am thinking of starting a group for sufferes as many of my friends struggle with PDs.
Just wondered if their were any current groups/charities I could contact about it.

I would love if there was a pd group in one of my areas. Have you tried contacting mind?

There should be considering the amount of people doctors are deciding are BPD at the moment !!

I have never found one, but then there truly is nothing in my area!

I think it would be great if more services/groups were set up like that.

I think a lot of areas are beginning to have PD specific teams I know they do in my area and they have hospitals and stuff.

However what I think your looking for is the Personality Disorder Network - http://www.personalitydisorder.org.uk/
