Medical review?

I've been referred to the consultant psychiatrist for a medical review, according to the report of my initial assessment by a CPN of the peri-natal CMHT I've been referred to (I don't know if I'm in that team yet, the two CMHTs in my area haven't been able to decide where to put me for weeks). Can anyone tell me what a medical review is or what to expect? I've had an assessment by a trainee psych of the non-peri-natal CMHT but that's all my experience with psychs. It's next Thursday and I'm quite anxious about it. Thanks!

Sorry to hear that you are feeling anxious, I don't know the answer to your questions personally but I would imagine a medical review is just to regroup and see where things are physically/mentally. Hope things go okay for you.
