I bought some skullcandy headphones today in the UK. They are the hesh model. I hear they used to do a lifetime warranty but no longer do, is this correct?
Anyone got a pair? I hear they break easily but learnt this only after buying them
Their website says this about the warranty:
Our warranty is valid for 24 months since date of purchase and covers manufacturing defects only. To claim your warranty you will need to provide a copy of the receipt or a copy of your bank statement.
My brother and sister both have a pair each and they've lasted pretty well (especially since my sister isn't known for taking care of her stuff very well)
I had some of their in-ear phones to and they were pretty good.
I have skullcandy in-ear and over-ear headphones. I have the Lowrider over-ear model and the Ink'd and the Smokin Buds in-ear models.
They have lasted me forever and I am really not the careful with them at all. I would say at least a year, if not two and stiff going strong.
I <3 skullcandy!

I've never liked using skullcandy ear/headphones, always found that one of the ears would stop working about 3-6 months after I got them.
I've had my Sony noise-cancelling headphones (not in ear as I have a problem with my ears that prevents me from using in ear ones) for four years now. They're a bit worn down but still work amazingly.
PM me if you want a PDF copy of the ICD-10or the Mental Health Act 1983/2007. I ALSO HAVE THE DSM-V BOOK and am a pharmacology student.
I have a visual impairment / neurological problems so I need people to type in clear text and no funny fonts. Also excuse any typos, my vision blocks things out.
I have autism and have problems communicating, PMs included.
Just becasue I type well doesn't mean I speak well. I am only part time verbal.
I have a pair of their supra-aural headphones. The handband is completly plastic but looks to be of decent construction. I've had mine for a year. Sound however is meh, probably a little better than whatever was included with the device. I used to use a pair of sennheiser px100s, but went with these for the sound isolation.
My skullcandies (smokin' buds) sounded good, but lasted about five months. Currently have a pair of Sony headphones that are wonderful.
tu as tant de choses à dire,
mais le tout reste enfermer.
et quand tu ne sais plus quoi dire,
tu te mets à pleurer.
Mais ça ton publique le voit pas,
tu l'incites à rêver, pendant que toi tu le regarde...
My apple ones broke really quickly too!
Really bad considering how much they cost to buy new
the apple ones hurt my ears to the point that I can't wear them. They hurt for days after that...

I love my skullcandy ear phones... My last ones broke after about two year but that was because my bf at the time decided to pull them out of stuff without holding the stiff bit near the socket he just yanked and eventually one of the ears stopped working cos the wires got pulled out too much but my current ones ive had for just over a year :D
