loss of motivation

I didn't know really where to put this but i just wanted somewhere to get it off my chest finally.

for the last month or two i have had no energy or motivation, i have struggled on but its getting harder and harder, i dont really want to get up but i do, i dont really want to wash and dress but i do, i do all the basics but its such a struggle.

my therapist says i need to get back to doing stuff to get my motivation back but im just feeling down, i have a lack of friends and social life but i have never had many friends, i feel old and as if my life is just floating along never getting anything from it

im looking for work atm but i dont know how im going to cope with it

i dont know what i want from this, some hugs and some advice might be nice

I have a hug and some understanding of how it can be. I'm feeling low at the moment and struggling with motivation, too. I know that eventually it will pass, when some stressors abate. Is there a pattern for you with motivation dipping?

not that i am aware of, i just dont know what could cause it,

i have swapped meds in this time but whether this has any effect i dont know

i just wish i had the energy to be arsed to do something

Hi, I'm struggling too, I really am trying to fight it. I've been back at work for 5 weeks after 4 months off, I didn't think I'd cope, it's a struggle, but I've got to get through it.

Keep fighting.

im sat here trying not to cry at bloomin holby city, thinking of my parents dying, i hate feeling like this, on the plus side i have filled out most of a job application form.
