Ah ok, makes a bit more sense. As a side note you can get really cheap pregnancy dipsticks (like the dr's use) on ebay, it works out a lot better if you're likely to use a few.

Oooh no it doesn't lol. You can get morning sickness from a few days after. I never had it luckily, but my mum had it from 3 or 4 days after the first attempt.

Yup you can start feeling sick pretty much straight away.

Good luck.

I'm fine! Totally fine. I don't know why it's coming out all loud and squeaky, 'cause really, I'm fine!

Who else is fine?!?!?

we have been trying to conceive since 2003. :( had a miscarriage in 2003 and two more in 2004 and havent been able to get pregnant since. diagnosed pcos after 3rd miscarriage and told chances of conceiving are very slim, and if i do, chances of carrying term are also very slim. refuse to give up trying. i have internal scans every 6 months because of the cysts. got my next beginning august. hope your attempts are more successful. i would mention it to your doc anyway as can be a stressful experience and some extra support is good. my psych and cpn are aware as they need to know when prescribing meds etc

Wendy I have pcos a d was also told i'd never conceive, as we see conceiving is not a problem for you, and unless you have other fertility problems relating to pregnancy, pcos will not complicate things, the syndrome is actually reversed whilst pregnant. Are you seeing a gyn or endocrinologist? They can help manage the syndrome and maybe metformin could help you lose weight. I'm currently about 3 times the weight i should be but suddenly my periods have dropped into a regular patten, are less heavy and iI don't understand it at all! Maybe your gp could offer some help re the weightloss, prescribed exercise classes, meds, possibly something like clomid to get you ovulating? Try the soulcysters forum too, lots of good advice ther.

Back to the op, hope it all works out, til then have fun trying x on a side note has you man ever had any tests?

mand, i have tried metformin before anc ouldnt tolerate it. yes, i go to a pcos clinic every 6 months for an internal scan and check up. im not allowed clomid due to being overweight, they say my bmi needs to be down to at least 35 first. i used to be on xenical for weightloss, then broke my ankle. that was 7 years ago. and now cant do hardly any exercise due to ankle probs.and the xenical only worked while i could exercise too, so gp wont put me back on it. used to be a member on soulcysters many years ago.

Tried the xr metformin? I found the original unbearable but made my gyn look up the xr one as he'd never heard of it. I'm losing weight atm on a strict diet, using my fitness pal app to keep track, i can't exercise much either due to ankle probs from breaking foot in feb, but I do all the housework and have to take and pickup the kids from nursery. I walk the dog too and do some 1/2 pushups and sit ups only 10 of each but gonna start building it up.
