that's strange. i don't have any explanation, but thought i'd respond to move this up on the board...

also, maybe you could post on the first aid forum?

this is my magical medicine cabinet. Left to right they contain: courage, hope, calmness, and strength.

The magical part: They NEVER run out, so borrow some any time you want.

Believe it or not, a lot of people experience this. I don't know why it happens, maybe someone will have an answer?

I don't have an answer, but I've had similar in the past, sometimes I bleed a lot, other times I barely bleed at all.
I suppose the body changes a lot?

I hope you are ok, and that you have taken care of the cut?

I'm not quite sure what the reason is or have any advice, but I just wanted to say that this used to happen to me extremely often. It was actually rarer for me to bleed a lot than to barely bleed, and I'm not sure why, since I did not cut any deeper or shallower than the previous times.

I'm tempted to say it might be something to do with the position of the veins/arteries, but I'm really not sure. I'm terrible at this sort of stuff.

*Squishes my face up against a first-aiders window until they come to this thread*

I don't think it's anything serious though x

I find I bleed less when I cut over scars. So maybe thats it?

Well, there is a reason, but I'd rather not say; as it wouldn't be helpful or constructive.

I'd not worry about it.

I realize that giving out the reason could easily turn into tipsharing ("don't do X because Y won't happen", yea that could get triggery)
but I get it.
It's the weirdest thing when it happens.
& with me, it'll usually scab over anyway, which is even more WTF

I doubt it's a "bad" thing, though.

I'm not ready for anything.

It's strange but I have also experienced this. You're not alone.

Are you okay?
