Are they helping?
I am not familiar with this med, but I had the same thing, no periods for 3 months. They did a prolactin test and although it was higher than normal it was lower than in October (when I last had a prolactin test and when I was still having periods). So it may the case that it is nothing to do with the meds, but other factors. My periods are still irregular (am getting them every other month), but I know in my case it was nothing to do with the meds. My psych explained that it may have been the case that the prolactin levels were raised by the meds but it has now dropped. But that doesnt explain the irregular periods - my CPN has told me if it carries on then I need to see my GP.
Anyway, the best bet is to seek medical help. Like you I am incredibly stable and have never been so good. Besides I was told (before they knew the test results) that because I was doing so unwell that it was unlikely I was taken off the meds, but there was a possibility that a medication dose change was a possibility to get my periods restarted. So seeking help does not necessary mean that you will be taken off a good medication.
Like you I was on risperidone but I had no periods (and like you was lactating), and they didnt take me off that (at least for that reason). My prolactin levels were never checked but they must have been high for me to lactate.
I hope that helps.
