question about signatures

[ghosts in the machine]

ok, so every time I try to set up my old sig (like on v2) I get the information thingies saying
1) signature cannot exceed 1000 characters including BBcode
2) signture cannot exceed 10 lines

so... I edited and have now come up with this:

Wake up in the night You belong to me
Frozen fear My snow white queen
All your hands on me There's no where to run so let's just
I can't scream Get it over
I can't escape the twisted way you think of me Soon, I know, you'll see
I feel you in my dreams and I don't sleep You're just like me
Don't scream any more, my love, 'cause
All I want is you

there are 865 characters (with spaces... I counted)
and there are 8 lines

but it won't let me submit it :(

does anyone know what's going on, or can't i use that?

Try typing it out instead of copying and pasting.

I think I had this problem, but I think that fixed it.

and it won't even show as it's supposed to now :(

Including BB code. I think the formatting means it has BB code in it, even if you can't see it, and that's what's making it go over the character limit.

Try typing it, as Chels said, and not putting any formatting in. See what happens :)

I was having sam trouble, and indeed Queen Crabbit was correct, you need to type it out. :)
