I have had 2 of these medicals and they are tough. This is the best advise i can offer:
Take someone with you who knows you well. Don't travel alone to it (they see this as a show of coping)
Don't try to put on a brave face, be yourself. If something makes you uncomfortable physically or emotionally TELL THEM.
Every question they ask, no matter how pointless is noted.
If you need something repeating or asked a different way.. again tell them.
When you get home, have a huge mug of tea.
Then call the ESA people and tell them you wish to have a copy of the medical notes. This will allow you to review them at home, edit any mistakes and send a copy back if you need to appeal anything (you may get them along with their decision)
Try to relax, it can take weeks for a decision, then if you disagree send a PHOTOCOPY of the notes *edited* and a small letter of why they are wrong.
Always send photocopies and keep originals of these things.
Hope it helps :)
