Contains abuse - Problems because of cutting

so i lost another friend today to cutting. thats 2 in the last 2 days. and this one i have known for 6 years. she was my best friend. and she asked me to get help and i told her i didnt want to. and she said she didnt want to know me because i was going so deep and that i was going to kill myself and she doesnt want to be around when it happens. and now im starting to reconsider. i have always liked being alone. but i cant lose her. any advice would be appreciated by the way i am 16 and male and liked by a lot of people who dont know the real me.

Sorry you're struggling like this right now. Unfortunately, when people find out about self-harm they don't usually understand the feelings behind it. Her saying that, doesn't stop her caring about you. I'm sure she just wants what's best for you and doesn't like to see you hurting like this.

Is there a reason why you don't want to get help with this? My advice would be to give her some time; let her try to understand her feelings and thoughts a little better and she might feel differently.

it sounds like your friend cares about you a TON. what she said make it sound like she is really scared that you will die, and that in her best interest, she needs to separate herself from you before that happens, as she doesn't think that she can stand the pain....

you say that she is making you think... are you considering getting help? what is holding you back?

devastating to them or to you? sometimes things need to be devastated before they can get better (think of an old building that needs to be knocked to the ground before something great can be built there)
