my Aunt made me feel normal

I called my Aunt tonight because I finally got my replacement phone and could call people. She asked me how things were going and we started off with talking about how I'm not sleeping (I have insomnia and try a new med tomorrow). She was saying that it would help to just relax before trying to sleep. I told her how I keep myself busy until I'm really tired because other wise I start think about what could happen, worse case scenarios ( this could happen to my dad, I could lose my family etc). My Aunt told me that my cousins do the same thing! I know that other people do to but to hear that other people in my family do it, I feel better about it in a way. I feel bad because my cousins are 12, 10 and 5 (she's just starting) but my Aunt is amazing and when they have the thoughts (I guess the 12 year old's anxiety is more then the younger ones) she talks with them about the thoughts then asks them what the possibility of it happening is. I wish I had someone with me to do that because when I am thinking the thoughts nothing really makes them stop. She was also saying that she has the anxiety of showing up at the wrong place or at the wrong time and I do to (I know it's a popular one) but then she went on to say when going somewhere she has to have the invitation or flyer saying the day, time and place..... I have to as well. Just hearing that my family has some of the same problems makes me feel less alone
