Panic attacks

Basically Iv been having what I think are panic attacks and have been feeling increasingly panicky this last week. The symptoms*Iv been getting are: *sudden adrenaline rush, chills, shaking, sometimes need to pee, very emotional, chest feels funny like tingly, irregular breathing (although this isn't to bad) and occasionally hit flushes. It always seems To be worse *at school and in the mornings like last week I skived morning tutor and a lesson just to try and avoid the feelings but it didn't really work much. Not sure what to do, got to go up the doctors on Monday to get the pill and dunno weather to say anything or not and how to say it if i do? Please help!

I think it's worth mentioning even if they just give you a self help leaflet-y thing :)

Just realised its the nurse I'm going to see so not sure if they can do anything? It's a kinda awkward subject so not sure now to start a conversation about it :/

has it only been the last week? if she cant help she will just book you in with the doctor :) just say your symptoms to her, it wont be anything new to her probs :) or if it feels too scary write it down, thats what i tend to do

It does sound like it could be due to your anxiety - and I agree with Lyria that it is a good idea to begin to talk a little about it to the professionals, or an adult you trust.

Is there something particular about school that is making you anxious? It may be that if there is, it is worth discussing with your tutor to see if there are any ways they can help you to deal with the thing that makes you anxious, or find ways of it being less of a stress to you.

Keep talking here as well. It will get easier with time to open up about things.

Be gentle with yourself.

There's nothing specific I can point it towards, just guessing its because it's in a situation I can't escape from :/ x
