Need some advice
My boyfriend saw my cuts the other day. He already knew about my SH etc etc But I haven't actually cut in a long time. Now he says he wants to 'talk' about it, as it's upset/confused/worried him. He's still being very supportive and non-confrontational about it...but HOW do you talk about this?
What does he want me to say??
Has anyone else had to do this? What kind of information are they after??

just tell him the truth and that you haven't SH for a while and that those are scars from previously but also your stable now

Usually I tell the person who wants to talk about the difficult thing to just start asking questions. It is kinda like giving them permission to pry.
For some reason I find that easier than just saying things because then you give them answers they want to know but you are also starting to be open and that kind of gives you a place to start.

Thank you for all your suggestions; I tried getting him to ask questions but it didn't he doesn't seem to know what he wants to know! I think the fact I wasn't chatty about it, when I am about EVERYTHING else threw him.
