I'm not judgjing the people who do put things online im just wondering why they do it. i could never even think of putting photos online iwould be to scared of someone i know seeing it..?

I haven't put pictures on the internet and don't think I could either so not sure how much help I am but my guess is it's that persons way of communicating their distress.

That thread actually includes the topic of posting/viewing/keeping pictures of self harming and reasons for it, so that may help some?

I guess for some people its a way of expressing there emotional pain. Because people in real life cant see how much they are hurting.

I dont really know.

But Im sure they have there reasons and are not to be judged for it.

I agree they definitely shouldn't be judged for it.

I've never done that, but I have typed bruises into web search engines as a comfort thing. I would never post pictures of my own injuries for fear of someone seeing.
