I may be a little bit excited. Basically, I love baking, but I haven't done any in ages due to not having enough time.

But I now have time.

So I will bake ALL the cakes. Fairy cake sized ones.



And by that I mean, I need you guys to tell me what your favorites are. And what cakes you have had that were amazing. And stuff.

I am already makeing:

Lemon cake with lemon icing
Plain with Plain butter icing (butterfly cakes!)
Plain with chocolate butter icing (butterfly cakes!)
Plain with plain normal icing
Plain with tripple chocolate, fudge chuncks and chcolate on top.
Chocolate with the above.



I may not acutally make all of the above, depending on what you guys tell me :)

I bought some amazing baking books last Monday and since then I've been baking quite a bit! I made a coffee and walnut cake last Monday and a victoria sponge tonight.

*gives you ideas from cupcake book*

• Rocky Road
• Marbled Chocolate
• Red Velvet (I've made these and they are DELICIOUS!)
• Gingerbread
• Chocolate & Orange
• Chocolate Chip
• Devil's Food

Also I just saw a recipe in here called, "New Baby Cupcakes" that have blue and white icing. =P

I made some absolutely delicious citrus cakes in the summer....
Candied peel in the middle, as well as orange and lemon zest. Then glace icing with either lemon or orange juice and zest... So delicious

And, recently, I made these really yummy cookies with raisins and glace cherries, and oats and flour and yumminess.... :)

Blueberry. Or cranberry and orange/white chocolate.

But... to be honest, just make lemon cakes and you're set - as they're the best cakes ever.

Saw this thread and got VERYYYYY excited! I am like a cake expert! In that I eat pretty much every cake I see (unless it has dried fruit in).... I love Costa cakes- tried a new one today- Lemon Cupcake- it was officially the best lemon cupcake I have ever eaten.

Carrot cake can be really nice- I used to agree that it isn't really cake until my friend made AMAZING carrot cake and carrot cake muffins which then led to another friend making carrot and orange cake which was gorgeous!

If anyone ever wants to talk about cake I am just a PM away! ;)

I want to make red velvet and devils food cake, but i have never made anything that isnt asponge so I would probably mess it up :(
I will however make coffee cakes with coffee icing, and becuase i feel like pushing the boat out, mocha cakes.

also, there shall be no vegitibles in my cakes :|

Yoghurt cake. Basically a simple sponge cake but made with yoghurt instead of milk and uses oil. It sounds worse than it is. The actual cake is really light.
