More worries...
So i had an appointment with a new therapist and of course, i was freaking out for a good 3 weeks before the day of the session. when the day came i was out of control i couldnt calm down for ****. i was in the waiting room trying to relax but it wasnt working at all. so the guy finally calls me in and as soon as i sat on the couch i had an anxiety attack that lasted the whole time i was in there. i feel extremely ashamed/embarrased/stupid about what happened and i can't stop stressing myself over it. now i have to see this person in a week and im really worried that its gonna happen again... what the hell should i do????

The important thing to remember here is that despite you worrying about it for three weeks before it happened, you still managed to get to the appointment, you still managed to sit in the waiting room and you still managed to sit in the room with your new therapist. That is a great achievement! Anxiety can feel so crippling sometimes but don't lose sight of how brave you have been to get to where you were. Now that your new therapist has seen how anxious you can get, they can make sure to make your next session gentle and calming. Are you prescribed any anti anxiety meds prn that you can take just before your session? I think that if you can make it back to that room again, things will get easier each time. Good luck :) and take care.

Don't feel ashamed about having an anxiety attack--I've had those too during therapy, and I know it feels horrible. I'm sure you're not the first one who's had an attack in that therapist's office. You might talk to the therapist about what happened and tell him anything he did/can do to help if you have an attack during an appointment again. That way, you can turn this into something that helps you develop a relationship with this new therapist. And just because you had one last session doesn't mean you'll have one in this next session, although it's natural to be worried that will happen. Remember that each session is a new one, like a new day, not a continuation of the last one.
Hope some of this helps :)

Both Sooty and Kbeth have good advice. Try and talk this through with your therapist.

Thnx guys
Alot of what sooty said is what the therapist told me and i keep telling myself this, but i just cant get myself to get over the embarassment. He scheduled an appointment with the psych 5 mins after i entered the room and thats another huge problem im trying to deal with but thats not for another month. so i guess I hve to suffer until then... If i try to talk to him about what happened in my first visit im just gonna kick myself in the ass for what was said i know i will i dont know what the hell to do this **** is giving me a headache i feel so damn exausted.
