Most psychiatric medications cannot be taking during pregnancy. It is therefore a good idea to discuss this with your care team and ensure the pregnancy is planned to enable you to have the best level of support. They can help in reducing doses of any meds you may need to stop and when the best time is to do that.
Most ante-natal clinics have a specialist who can assist with mental well-being during pregnancy, but sometimes it will be your care team that continue looking after you - as they will know you best. They can give you advice to help you through all the stages of the pregnancy and what to do if anything goes wrong and you require admission.
