We are male and female. We are artists, athletes, and students. We have depression, PTSD, eating disorders, bipolar disorder, or maybe no diagnosis at all. Some of us were abused, some not. We come from all walks of life and can be any age. We are every race or religion that you can think of. Our common link is this: We are in pain. We self-injure. And we are not freaks.
I bought a blue acoustic guitar in Feb and am attempting to learn to play ( this will be my third attempt at learning guitar). The guitar purchase emptied my bank account so I get all my lessons from you tube : )

I play piano, violin, viola, trumpet, flute and recorder. Currently focussing on violin though, trying to get my grade 8 (which could take forever, given my lack of musical talent :p)
I used to play keyboard for fun. I play guitar now and love it. I was self taught, then had a year of tuition but can't afford it now so I'm back to teaching myself xD
