Hello,
I realize this most likely isn't possible, but is there any way I can pay the shipping costs of the free "one month free" bracelet in cash? I am 17 and live at home, with no access to a credit card or Paypal. My parents are very uncomfortable with the topic of self-injury, so I hesitate to ask them. Is there any other method of payment besides the two mentioned above that I could use?
I'm going to order two bracelets, the "one month free" and a plain orange one, as soon as I can find out if I can pay in cash. I sent a PM to Harley's Dad.
SI-free for six months, a week, and a day - and always will be.
Thanks Glitter...I PMed both Harley and Harley's Dad and haven't recieved a response yet from either, so I guess I'll just wait to see what happens. I hope it hasn't changed as I'd really like to buy a bracelet. Assuming everyone has access to PayPal is unfair, in my opinion, as many of us are teens without access to a debit card.

you can get pre payment cards nowadays, which are exactly like a credit/debit card which you just top up with money, then can use it like a normal card to spend.

I just checked; paypal accepts visa electron, and I've had a visa electron debit card since I was like, 5. That's not true, I was 11, but my point stands.

That sounds cool :) See, I've started a new job and should be getting paid any day now. I don't want to open a credit account because I have a problem keeping money in the bank and I don't want to earn a bad credit score so soon starting out. This sounds like a happy medium between using cash to pay for everything and having a "real" debit/credit card. I didn't know these existed, but will look into them. Thanks!

You cant really get a bad credit score by opening a bank account, they only way you can get one is if you get credit cards and overdrafts. The bank is really the safest way to keep your money, or a savings account. I had a bank account since 14 :S

Agreed.
Also I would (unless you are sending cash through Special Delivery - if you use ordinary recorded delivery if it gets lost/stolen/damaged it wont get covered) send a postal order rather than cash through the post if you are based in the UK.

i think for a few quid it should be fine, tho tape the coins down so they dont move and wrap it so it doesnt feel like coins on the outside. I would personally never send money through the post.
